Frequently asked questions
Does the app work without an internet connection?
Yes. All references, calculators, medication data, and tracking features work fully offline. The optional Track ID sharing feature and OneDrive document sharing are the only features that require connectivity.
Is my data sent to a server?
No, with one optional exception. By default, everything you enter — vitals, OR events, scanned documents, hospital notes, mileage — stays on your device. The OR Tracker has an opt-in Track ID feature that uploads de-identified event timestamps so teammates can view them; you can disable it at any time.
Can I use this with patient identifiers (PHI)?
The app is designed as a clinical reference and tracking utility. It is not a HIPAA-covered EMR. Do not enter identifiable patient information unless your organization has authorized this use and has appropriate safeguards in place.
How do I export an OR Tracker case report?
From the OR Tracker, complete the case, then tap the share/export icon. The app generates a formatted PDF you can save, AirDrop, email, or upload to OneDrive.
How do I share a Track ID with my team?
When you start a case in OR Tracker, tap 'Share' to generate a Track ID. Send it to your team — they enter the ID in the OPOsitive Track companion app (available for free in the Apple App Store) to view the live timers and event log. Track IDs auto-expire after 72 hours of inactivity.
I think a drug dose / lab range / formula is wrong. What do I do?
Please email feedback@zenviewstudio.com immediately with the specific item, the value shown, and what you believe the correct value should be. We treat content corrections as the highest priority and will investigate and update the app as quickly as possible.
How do I delete all my data?
You can clear individual records inside the app. To wipe everything, delete the app from your device — all local data is removed with it.
What iOS versions are supported?
OPOsitive supports iOS 17 and later on iPhone. Some advanced features may require iOS 18+.
Will there be an Android version?
Yes — an Android version is currently in development. The iOS app is built natively to take full advantage of Apple's healthcare and performance frameworks, and the Android version will follow the same clinical-first design once it's ready. No release date yet; check back here for updates.
