Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 25, 2026
OPOsitive: ORC Tools is built around a simple principle: your data is yours. This policy explains what information the app handles, how it's stored, and the limited circumstances in which any data leaves your device.
1. Who We Are
The OPOsitive: ORC Tools application (the “App”) is owned and operated by Zenview Studio, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). For privacy-related questions, contact us at feedback@zenviewstudio.com.
2. Data the App Does Not Collect
We do not collect, transmit, or sell personal data. The App does not require an account, does not contain advertising or third-party analytics SDKs, and does not transmit your usage to us or any third party.
3. Data You Enter Into the App
Information you enter into the App — including OR event timestamps, vitals, treatment notes, hospital notes, mileage, expenses, and scanned documents — is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage frameworks. We do not have access to this data.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any data you enter complies with your employer's policies and applicable law, including HIPAA and other privacy regulations. The App is a general-purpose clinical reference and tracking utility; it is not a HIPAA-covered electronic medical record system and should not be used to store identifiable patient information unless your organization has authorized that use.
4. Track ID Sharing (Optional Feature)
The OR Tracker includes an optional “Track ID” feature that allows you to share live OR event data with team members. When you enable Track ID sharing for a case:
- De-identified event timestamps and computed elapsed timers are uploaded to a secure backend so authorized recipients can view them.
- The Track ID is a randomly generated identifier with no link to patient identity. We recommend you never include patient identifiers in event notes when sharing.
- You may end sharing at any time. Shared records are automatically purged after 72 hours of inactivity.
If you do not use Track ID sharing, no event data ever leaves your device.
5. Document Scanner & OneDrive
The Document Scanner stores captured images and generated PDFs locally on your device. If you choose to share a document to OneDrive, the file is transmitted directly from your device to Microsoft using Microsoft's authentication and encryption. We do not receive, see, or store these documents. Microsoft's handling of those files is governed by Microsoft's privacy policy.
6. Apple Services
The App uses standard Apple services such as iCloud (for optional device backup, if you have it enabled), Sign in with Apple is not used, and the App Store. Apple may collect aggregated, non-personal information about App downloads and crashes through its standard platform telemetry, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
7. Crash Diagnostics
If you opt in to share diagnostics with developers in your iOS Settings, Apple may forward anonymized crash logs to us via App Store Connect. These logs contain no personally identifiable information and are used solely to fix bugs.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for use by clinical professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Your Rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You may delete all App data at any time by deleting the App from your device. If you believe we hold any data about you, contact feedback@zenviewstudio.com and we will respond within 30 days.
10. International Users
The App is operated from the United States. By using the App, you consent to the limited processing described above occurring in the United States.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above will be revised when changes are made. Material changes will be communicated via the App or App Store release notes.
